Aquasol Canada installs demo system at major greenhouse grower in Leamington, Ontario

We are proud to announce that Aquasol Canada has installed a new floating solar demo system at Under Sun Acres, a leading greenhouse grower in Leamington, Ontario. This project was realized in close collaboration with Dordt Watermanagement from Chatham ON and marks an important milestone in our expansion across North America.

The installation uses the proven floating system from ProFloating, designed to perform reliably in a wide range of climates. With this demo setup, we demonstrate that our floating technology can easily withstand the sometimes extreme winter conditions found in Southern Canada.

In this region, every installed 670 Wp solar panel generates more than 1 MWh annually, offering remarkable production potential. By combining Aiko ABC high-efficiency modules (extra water resistance) with the natural performance boost of water-based solar installations, expectations for system output are exceptionally high.

This project represents another step toward sustainable energy in the Canadian greenhouse sector — and proves that floating solar is ready for broader adoption across North America.
